Cincinnati Ice Breakers Sled Hockey!
Sunday, March 12, 2017 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
On Sunday March 12th at 5 PM the Cincinnati IceBreakers sled team is coming back to IHWC to challenge our hockey players. Sled hockey is played by disabled individuals who are unable to stand and skate in the traditional way. Each player has a sled that is propelled by short hockey sticks with picks on the end to dig into the ice. All the rules are exactly the same as in regular hockey.

We are looking for players to jump into the sleds and compete against the IceBreakers. We are looking for individuals to help out by competing against the IceBreakers. The sleds and sticks will be provided, all you child will need is their hockey equipment and shoes instead of skates. This is a great chance to get community service hours by playing hockey.

We are looking for 8-10 players at two different levels:

5:00 PM, youth players age 12 and under;

6:00 PM adults who have the guts to try to play.

6:30 or sooner if the adults give up, open sled time for anyone else who would like to try skating with the sleds without hockey competition.

Those who played last year had a great time at this event. If you are interested please contact Frank Yantek at frantek@aol.com or at 513-474-4518
