Chris Ligenfelter brings 12 years of personal training experience to the IHWC. A native of Lexington, Chris was allstate in Kentucky in high school football and track. He spent 2 years playing college football at Georgetown College, Kentucky. After a football career-ending neck injury, Chris came to the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of the track & field team, placing nationally in throwing events. Chris graduated from U.C. with a B.S. in Health Education.

Chris has over 5 years of experience coaching high school football and track, having trained several high school all-state athletes and college All-Americans. Chris focuses his sports training on strength, agility and plyometrics.

He works with all ages, from teens and college students sports conditioning to adult fitness. He received the Senior Fitness Team Award from the Keiser Institute on Aging.

Chris and wife Stacy live in Madeira. Chris’ favorite Book is A Man’s Search for Meaning , by Viktor E. Frankl. His hero is his brother and his favorite movie is Brian’s Song with Billy D Williams and James Caan.
